Baja Designs Squadron SAE Fog Pocket Kit, 2015-19 Colorado Canyon Silverado Sierra 2500HD 3500HD, Baja Amber Pair

The Baja Designs 447715 Squadron SAE fog pocket kit adds a pair of Baja Amber projector fog lights to select 2015–19 Chevrolet and GMC trucks. Vehicle-specific mounting components and a wiring harness are included. Aspheric projector optics create a controlled fog pattern with a sharp cutoff for the manufacturer's Zone 1 coverage.

Included contents

• One pair of Baja Amber Squadron SAE fog lights, listed as part 257815
• Vehicle-specific mounting components
• Wiring harness

Baja Amber identifies the supplied lens/light configuration. The extended description specifies SAE Fog, while the contents line labels the SAE pair “Wide Cornering.” This listing retains the SAE fog identity rather than presenting the lights as ordinary Wide Cornering auxiliary pods. The registration symbol in Squadron(R) is a trademark notation, not identification of the Squadron-R model. Harness switching details and a separately included switch are not specified.

Manufacturer-listed performance per light

• Output: 2,420 lumens
• Peak intensity: up to 15,800 candela
• Power: 29W
• Aspheric projector optics with a controlled, sharp cutoff

These ratings are per light, not for the pair. Baja Designs describes a 56% increase in luminous flux over its previous-generation SAE model. This part-specific record does not provide voltage range, light dimensions or individual light weight. Shipping-package measurements are not pod measurements.

Installation and SAE designation

Baja Designs states that the lights are designed to meet SAE J583 fog lamp requirements. Proper installation, aiming and use are required; this is not a blanket approval for every installation or use. Follow the manufacturer's instructions and verify compatibility with the vehicle's fog pockets and wiring.

Service and manufacturer coverage

uService is not a feature of these SAE lights. The manufacturer warns that tampering will void the warranty and that its Limited Lifetime Warranty is valid only when the lights are returned for repairs. Do not treat the lenses or optics as user-serviceable.

Baja Designs also lists a 30-day Satisfaction Guarantee, subject to its terms.
