Eibach PRO-TRUCK Coilover 2.0 with HD Springs
E86-35-056-05-22 combines assembled front and rear PRO-TRUCK Coilover 2.0 units with HD springs for added-weight Bronco builds. The Stage 2 system features threaded ride-height adjustment, 46mm pistons, nitrogen-filled monotube construction and variable-force valving. Eibach lists anodized 6061-T6 billet aluminum coilover mounts, ERO off-road race springs and individual dyno testing.
Verified applications
Eibach's exact-part catalog lists 2021–2026 Ford Bronco, two-door and four-door, 2.3L/2.7L EcoBoost, 4WD, in the following configurations:
- HOSS 1.0 with base black shocks.
- HOSS 2.0 with Sasquatch package.
- HOSS 3.0 with Fox internal-bypass non-live-valve shocks.
Confirm the actual factory suspension against these applications. The year span is not a blanket fitment claim for every trim. Do not assume Raptor, live-valve systems, Bronco Sport or other unlisted configurations fit.
Included components and lift
- Two front HD coilover assemblies, 35166.9005: threaded ride-height adjustment; vehicle lift depends on engine, package, adjustment and added front weight.
- Two rear HD coilover assemblies, 35166.9006: threaded ride-height adjustment; vehicle lift depends on package, adjustment and added rear weight.
- Two hardware kits, 35148.8000HK.
- One coil spanner wrench, ETC2.0.
Quantities are from the exact kit's D4303 R1 instructions. These are assembled coilover units, not a loose spring-and-shock kit. They are the HD assemblies, not the 35166.9003/35166.9004 units in the standard kit.
Added-weight setup
Eibach states that its listed heights are measured with 150 lb of additional weight over the front axle and 500 lb over the rear axle. Its stated adjustment ranges refer to full-low through full-high with that weight in place. Those figures describe the measurement conditions, not an increase to the vehicle's rated payload, axle ratings or GVWR.
Exact lift varies with package and weight distribution. Eibach notes two-door models will see slightly increased lift, without supplying a separate numerical correction in the retrieved documentation. A numerical front/rear vehicle-lift table was not established from the retrieved HD instructions, so this listing does not substitute the standard kit's lift figures or promise a universal HD lift range. Confirm the intended loaded ride-height setup with Eibach.
Collar limits and adjustment
D4303 R1 specifies a maximum front collar height of 84mm and a maximum rear collar height of 148mm, measured from the bottom of the collar to the base exactly as illustrated. These are collar dimensions, not vehicle lift heights. Exceeding them can damage the shock and suspension.
The instructions estimate approximately 11/16 inch of front collar movement for 1 inch of front ride-height change, and approximately 1 inch of rear collar movement for 1 inch of rear ride-height change. Set both sides equally and follow the complete adjustment instructions.
Installation requirements
Installation should be performed by a qualified suspension mechanic. Eibach warns that the front axle must be removed from the hub during front shock removal to prevent axle assemblies from being damaged by overextension. Support the knuckle and rear axle appropriately and follow the complete illustrated installation and reassembly sequence.
Do not use impact tools on shock piston components, shafts or rod nuts. After installation, inspect alignment, wheel/tire clearance, brake-line clearance and attachments, and ABS sensors. Use the manufacturer instructions and applicable vehicle torque specifications rather than treating this description as an installation manual.
Warranty and identification
Eibach lists a two-year warranty, subject to its terms and application requirements. SKU and manufacturer part number: E86-35-056-05-22.
