FOX 2.0 Performance Series IFP Front Coilovers and Rear Shocks for 2005–2023 Toyota Tacoma
Level the front of your 2005–2023 Toyota Tacoma and upgrade front and rear damping with this FOX 2.0 Performance Series IFP set. The front coilovers arrive factory-preset for 2 inches of front leveling over stock, while the rear smooth body shocks provide application-specific damping for on-road comfort and predictable off-road handling.
Package Contents and Fitment
- Two front coilovers, part number 985-02-002
- Two rear shocks, part number 980-24-670
- Four assemblies total: two front coilovers plus two rear shocks
- Fits 2005–2023 Toyota Tacoma
- Front coilovers preset for 2 inches of leveling/lift over stock
- The stated 2-inch lift applies to the front coilovers, not a rear lift supplied by the shocks.
Front: Adjustable Coilover IFP Assemblies
The bolt-on front coilovers combine a rust-resistant, impact-extruded aluminum body with a racing coil selected for the application. Locking spring-preload rings allow ride-height and preload adjustment. The vehicle-specific upper mount uses a composite bushing to isolate noise and vibration.
The internal floating piston separates the shock oil from the high-pressure nitrogen gas chamber, helping prevent oil aeration so the factory-tuned precision valving can deliver consistent damping. The supplied front-coilover information describes installation without modifications and applications for stock or lifted trucks that reuse the stock shock configuration.

Rear: 2.0 IFP Smooth Body Shocks
The rear shocks use aluminum bodies to increase cooling capacity and resist rust. An internal floating piston separates oil from the high-pressure nitrogen gas chamber to help prevent aeration. Race-developed high-flow pistons and application-specific valving provide controlled damping over rough roads and trails.
