Year-specific front lift
The application table specifies 2.3 inches of front lift for the listed 2014–2018 configurations and 2 inches for the listed 2019–2026 configurations. These are application-specific lift figures, not a universally adjustable 2–2.3-inch range.
This is a front-only shock-and-spring leveling kit, not a four-shock package. Rear shocks and rear lift components are not listed as included. The matched front springs supply the lift.
Installation requirements
Bilstein recommends an adjustable track bar in its application notes. An adjustable track bar is not listed among the kit's two shocks and two springs. Follow both manufacturer installation documents for spring handling, mounting, reservoir routing and clearance checks.
Remote reservoir damping
The B8 5160 shocks use monotube construction and application-specific digressive damping. Remote reservoirs increase oil capacity for heat dissipation during changing road and trail conditions. The matched spring-and-shock package is designed to install at factory mounting locations.
