The Baja Designs 587503 Squadron-R Sport Fog Pocket Kit places a pair of clear Wide Cornering LED lights in the factory fog-pocket locations of a 2010–2018 Jeep Wrangler JK with the standard OE bumper. Two round Squadron-R Sport pods, mounts and a wiring harness are listed in the package contents. The manufacturer specifies an H16 stock adaptor plug for this application.
Vehicle fitment and bumper requirements
- 2010–2018 Jeep Wrangler JK
- Standard OE bumper required
- Designed for the OEM fog-pocket locations
- Uses the H16 stock adaptor plug specified by Baja Designs
- Manufacturer part number / store SKU: 587503
The exact-part application and extended description both specify 2010–2018. This listing therefore does not extend the kit to 2007–2009 models. The manufacturer limits compatibility to the standard OE bumper; do not assume fitment with other factory bumper configurations or aftermarket bumpers. Confirm your bumper and connector configuration before purchase.
Included contents and light configuration
- Two 580005 Squadron-R Sport LED pods
- Clear Wide Cornering lenses
- Round Squadron-R configuration identified in the kit title and explicit component list
- Mounts
- Wiring harness
The marketing paragraph shortens the model name to Squadron Sport, but the part-specific descriptions and kit contents explicitly identify Squadron-R Sport and two 580005 lights. This listing follows those explicit contents rather than substituting a different pod model. It is a complete two-light fog-pocket kit, not a lens kit or a universal pod pair.
Manufacturer lighting information
Baja Designs lists 3,162 raw lumens in the kit's marketing text without explicitly stating whether that figure is per light or a whole-kit total. It is retained here as the manufacturer's unqualified figure and is not doubled or presented as a confirmed pair total.
The source also gives the following Effective Lighting Score notation for Squadron Sport Wide Cornering Clear: ELS 124° / 6.7 / 114' / 2506. The record does not fully define those individual values, so they are not converted here into separate confirmed beam-distance or output specifications.
Installation considerations
Follow the manufacturer's installation instructions for fitting the lights and mounts into the original fog pockets and making the H16 adaptor connection. Although a wiring harness is explicitly listed, this record does not identify its part number, length or switch arrangement. No high/low control or additional wiring accessories are established by the supplied contents.
The exact-part record does not provide wattage, current draw, operating voltage, individual pod dimensions or durability ratings. Specifications from other Squadron or Squadron-R products have not been substituted. The fog-pocket designation does not by itself establish an SAE or DOT approval claim; no such rating is stated in this record.
Manufacturer coverage
Baja Designs lists a Limited Lifetime Warranty and a 30-day money-back Satisfaction Guarantee, subject to its terms.
