Electrical and stator requirements
Verify your bike's electrical system before installation. Baja Designs states that some electric-start bikes require stator modification or rewinding and a new rectifier/regulator to run LED lights. Consult the manufacturer's Stator Reference Chart for your exact year, make and model.
If a new rectifier/regulator is required, the manufacturer names part 12-2004 and requests the bike's year, make and model.
