The Baja Designs 447012 Squadron Sport “Sportsmen” headlight conversion kit equips compatible Polaris RZR models with four clear LED pods. Two Spot lights and two Driving/Combo lights combine distinct beam patterns, while vehicle-specific brackets and an included harness provide the manufacturer-described plug-and-play installation using the factory switch and mounting hardware.
Vehicle applications
- 2018–2021 Polaris RZR RS1
- 2014–2021 Polaris RZR XP 1000, consistently listed in the detailed descriptions
- 2018–2021 Polaris RZR XP Turbo-S
Fitment discrepancy: The application summary extends RZR XP 1000 coverage through 2022, while the extended description and title attributes stop at 2021. Shared marketing also uses “2014–Current,” without a defined end year. Confirm 2022 XP 1000 compatibility with Baja Designs before purchase; open-ended coverage is not assumed.
Included contents
- Two clear Spot Squadron Sport pods, part 550001
- Two clear Driving/Combo Squadron Sport pods, part 550003
- Two vehicle-specific mounting brackets
- Wiring harness
- Manufacturer part number / store SKU: 447012
This kit contains four Squadron Sport lights, not Pro lights or round Squadron-R pods. Clear identifies the main lenses. Factory switch and mounting hardware are used during installation; the source does not establish that replacement factory hardware or a new switch is included.
Lighting output
The part-specific marketing lists 3,150 lumens per Squadron Sport pod. This is a per-light figure, not a whole-kit rating. The record does not provide wattage, amperage, input-voltage range or individual pod dimensions, so those specifications are not borrowed from other Squadron products.
Installation considerations
Baja Designs describes this as a plug-and-play mounting kit for the listed applications, using the factory switch and mounting hardware. Confirm the exact vehicle model and year, review the manufacturer's installation instructions and check existing electrical and mounting components before installation. The source does not specify the factory-switch beam assignment or establish DOT approval for on-road headlight use.
Manufacturer coverage
Baja Designs lists a Limited Lifetime Warranty, subject to its terms.
