Upgrade your compatible Honda's trail lighting with the Baja Designs Squadron Sport AC Headlight Kit. One square Squadron Sport light with a clear Spot lens delivers the manufacturer's listed 3,162 raw lumens, with a wiring harness and CRF/X rectifier for connection to the bike's stock lighting system.
Vehicle fitment
- 2004–2007 Honda CRF250X
- 2005–2007 Honda CRF450X
These are the exact application ranges. Compatibility with later model years or the CRF450RX is not established by this record. Confirm your bike's existing electrical and headlight configuration before ordering.
Included components
- One Squadron Sport clear Spot LED light, part 550001
- Wiring harness
- CRF/X rectifier identified in the manufacturer marketing
- Manufacturer part number and store SKU: 557071AC
A headlight shell is not identified as included. This is a single-light kit, not a pair, and it is the AC version rather than the separately listed 557071 DC kit.
AC-to-DC conversion and stator requirements
Baja Designs states that the included CRF/X rectifier allows this kit to plug into the stock lighting system, converting AC power to the DC power needed by the LED light. For the specified applications, the manufacturer explicitly states that no stator modifications are required.
This no-modification statement belongs to this AC kit and its listed motorcycles; it should not be applied to other headlight kits or later bikes. Review the part-specific installation instructions and confirm compatibility if your motorcycle's electrical system has already been altered.
Lighting and installation
The kit's own marketing lists 3,162 raw lumens for the supplied light and describes a plug-and-play upgrade with a clean, factory-style fit and rugged construction for off-road riding. Clear identifies the main lens color; Spot identifies the beam pattern. Wattage, amperage, input-voltage range, dimensions and high/low-beam operation are not specified in this exact record.
Follow the manufacturer instructions for mounting, wiring and aiming. DOT/SAE approval for on-road use is not established by the supplied record.
Manufacturer coverage
Baja Designs lists a 30-Day Satisfaction Guarantee and Limited Lifetime Warranty, subject to the manufacturer's terms.
