Upgrade your Honda's off-road lighting with the Baja Designs Squadron Sport DC Headlight Kit. One square Squadron Sport LED light with a clear Spot lens is supplied with a wiring harness, offering the kit's manufacturer-listed 3,162 raw lumens for nighttime trail riding.
Vehicle fitment
- 2004–2017 Honda CRF250X
- 2005–2018 Honda CRF450X
- 2017–2018 Honda CRF450RX
These are the exact application ranges in the supplied record. The broader electrical note referencing 2004–2018 CRF250X/450X models does not extend these fitment ranges. Confirm your exact motorcycle and headlight mounting arrangement before ordering.
Included components
- One Squadron Sport clear Spot LED light, part 550001
- Wiring harness
- Manufacturer part number and store SKU: 557071
A headlight shell is not identified as included. This is a single-light kit, not a pair. The manufacturer identifies this as the DC version; the D/C notation in the product name is not used here to imply a Driving/Combo beam, because the exact extended description and contents both specify Spot.
Stator and electrical requirements
Stator rewind required: Baja Designs states that an aftermarket stator rewind is required to power this light on the CRF250X/450X models covered by its 2004–2018 electrical note. Account for this additional work before installing the kit; a supplied harness does not remove the requirement.
The record does not separately state the CRF450RX stator requirement. Confirm the necessary electrical setup for your exact CRF450RX with Baja Designs rather than assuming its requirements are identical to the X models. This is not the separately listed 557071AC kit.
Lighting and construction
The kit's own marketing lists 3,162 raw lumens for the single Squadron Sport and describes a lightweight, durable design with a polycarbonate lens for impact resistance. It does not provide wattage, amperage, input voltage, dimensions or a verified high/low-beam arrangement; those specifications are not borrowed from related products.
Review the part-specific installation instructions for mounting, wiring and aiming. The manufacturer describes this kit for enduro, trail riding and off-road racing. DOT/SAE approval for on-road use is not established by the supplied record.
Manufacturer coverage
Baja Designs lists a 30-Day Satisfaction Guarantee and Limited Lifetime Warranty, subject to the manufacturer's terms.
