Bilstein B8 6112 Rear Spring & Shock Kit

47-314009 combines two 60mm rear shock absorbers, two matched cold-wound coil springs and two billet aluminum spring seats. Digressive pistons and vehicle-specific tuning provide damping control on the road and over uneven terrain. This is a rear-axle kit, not a front leveling kit or complete four-corner system.

Application and package selection

Bilstein's exact-part catalog identifies selected 2021–2026 Ford Bronco applications, not 2020. Confirm the exact year, trim, door count and factory suspension package in the manufacturer's application guide before ordering. Coverage across that year span is not a claim that every trim and suspension package fits. Do not substitute Bronco Sport, Raptor or an unlisted suspension configuration.

Included components and rear lift

  • Two B8 6112 60mm rear shocks with two matched Bilstein springs: typical rear lift varies by factory configuration and selected circlip position.
  • Two billet aluminum spring seats: supplied spring-seat isolators and flange lock nuts are also identified in the linked assembly instructions.

The exact catalog lists approximately 1.8–2.8 inches without Sasquatch for applicable standard trims, 1.2–2.3 inches for Badlands without Sasquatch, and 0.3–1.4 inches with Sasquatch. These figures are not interchangeable across configurations.

The exact part links to installation document E4-WM5-Y723A00_4. Its B8 6112 chart with Bilstein springs provides these typical rear settings, with #1 the lowest groove:

  • Sasquatch: #1 0.3 in; #2 0.5 in; #3 0.7 in; #4 1.0 in; #5 1.2 in; #6 1.4 in.
  • Badlands without Sasquatch: #1 1.2 in; #2 1.4 in; #3 1.6 in; #4 1.9 in; #5 2.1 in; #6 2.3 in.
  • Four-door without Sasquatch or Badlands, not equipped with factory yellow Bilstein ESCV shocks: #1 1.8 in; #2 2.0 in; #3 2.2 in; #4 2.4 in; #5 2.6 in; #6 2.8 in.
  • Two-door without Sasquatch or Badlands, not equipped with factory yellow Bilstein ESCV shocks: #1 2.0 in; #2 2.2 in; #3 2.5 in; #4 2.8 in. Positions #5 and #6 must not be used.

The shared chart explains setup only for confirmed applications; it does not independently establish fitment for an otherwise unlisted vehicle. Use the 6112/Bilstein-spring chart, not the separate 6100/OE-spring chart. Actual height varies with factory suspension condition, accessories, weight and other modifications.

Assembly and OE parts

This is not a preassembled coilover pair. A professional suspension technician must use an appropriate spring compressor and follow the complete instructions. Use the supplied Bilstein springs for B8 6112, and reuse the serviceable OE jounce bumper and top-hat assembly, including its top mount plate and spring isolator.

Discard the OE dust boot because it is incompatible with these shocks. Do not reuse the OE rod collar. Fully seat the circlip and spring seat as illustrated, preserve the lower-bushing orientation relative to the upper studs, and use the supplied new flange lock nut. Do not use an impact wrench on the shaft nut.

Installation checks

Follow all vehicle-specific torque specifications and check wheel alignment, brake/ABS operation, headlight aim and applicable driver-assistance calibrations after installation. Evaluate other aftermarket parts for static and dynamic interference rather than assuming compatibility.
